Help Wanted - Summer Job

Reliable, Computer Literate, Willing to Work Hard All Summer Cleaning and Organizing Basements, Attics, Garages etc.

Anyone who's having trouble getting a summer job may find this the perfect way to accomplish two worthy goals. Finding work and doing something to help others get more organized. You know all that stuff you have piled up all over the place; the stuff you hang onto thinking 'someday I'll need that.' Well, if this describes your situation and you have a working age (or even slightly younger) aspiring entrepreneur, maybe we can offer a solution or two . . . Let them get you set up to sell that treasure online at AuctionCities.com you can get some money out of all the "junk"? you've been accumulating, provide a job for an idle youngster and get that area organized. The one you keep saying, 'maybe next weekend I'll get to that project.'

Here's a few tips on how to get organized. First make sure that you and your labor force agree upon the work arrangements. Then when the contract is made the first step is to get organized: Separate all the items into three categories: Sell - Keep - Trash. No exceptions - and if there's any controversy SELL & TRASH trump Keep. Dispose of the Trash right away so you don't keep hording useless stuff. Organize and store the KEEP items so they are where you can easily find them the next time you need them. Now, if you don't already have a free auction website - you can get one at www.AuctionCities.com - just follow the easy onscreen instructions. Have your youngster do the heavy lifting online - they usually have a better handle on this stuff than we do anyway. They can start listing your items for sale. Remember, in most cases you can get more for items online than at a garage or rummage sale. But, be sure that you segregate any items that would not be practical to sell at auction. Collectibles, and books are much better sold at auction. If in doubt about pricing check online auctions to see what prices are charged for everyday items - but be careful about collectibles. If you think something may be more than a few bucks - check online or in the library for valuation. If you think it is really valuable at least consider an appraisal in the case of antiques or collectible memorabilia. Unless you just want to give them away of course.

Now, if that goes well perhaps you and your youngster can make a business out of this. Perhaps your up and coming mogul will be able to avail their services to neighbors, friends and relatives who lack the time and labor pool you are so fortunate to have. You may even consider gathering other people's treasures from garage sales and offering them online. Yes, this could grow into a real business. If you are so inclined you might even want to consider getting your own website to sell online. Of all the summer jobs you could create for your youngster think of another one that has so many advantages. They'll be right there, underfoot, so you can keep an eye on them, they'll be dealing with those projects you never seem to have time to accomplish and they may even make a buck or two. The addition of the free website at AuctionCities.com is just a bonus to minimize the cost of setting up and selling online. The greatest costs will be the pizza and sodas or other groceries and possibly a digital camera so you can take photos of items and attach them to your listings.

Now if you're doing so well at this you really want to convert it to an ongoing business I invite you to contact the author for a complete solution to your online e-commerce venture. I will provide you with free tutorial materials and show how to get online and making a profit in a matter of hours or days instead of the usual months and months that most people experience.
