Many detractors of Hugo Chvez the leader of Venezuela in South America have said that the dictator of that Communist Party is bluffing when he says he will stop selling oil to the United States of America. If he was to do that and instead sell his oil to China he would not be able to sell it at a higher price and it would cost him more to transport it there. Some say Hugo Chvez is bluffing or kidding himself if he thinks he can bribe Argentina with cheap oil, keep Bolivia on the same page, change the elections in Mexico and work with the new dictator of Cuba, Raul Castro to cause problems for the United States. Certainly he can try and yet all those who followed him would be economically disenchanted and leave his sphere of influence. Does that mean communism is dead? No certainly not, because people want to get more for less and to the lure of communism is indeed a promising situation. The problem is trying to give the people everything they want as their desires increase and holding the fort together trying to run redline with decreasing output and capacities as people work less for that equal pay. This is why the Hugo Chavez bluff is showing weakness, hypocrisy and Manhood Issues, as he keeps promising what he cannot deliver without bankrupting his country. In a perfect world it sounds good and all that, but if he lived in a perfect world it would be one of Capitalism not Communism. Consider all this in 2006. |
